Ghost of the past

Ghost from the past Photo and poem by Tammy Sullivan 2015

When you stealthily, tiptoe across the floor.
When you slowly, and quietly open the door.
Not knowing what you will glimpse inside.
Heart is racing, eyes are wide.
Just a peek, that is all you want.
A chance to see what it haunts. © Tammy J. Sullivan 2015
